The Printed Media

If you just arrive in Argentina and want to try to make some sense of what’s happening in daily life and politics in general, the English language daily Buenos Aires Herald is an excellent start. However if after a few months your Spanish is up to speed and you want to get some unbiased news in Castellano, things tend to get more complicated.
Argentina has the highest newspaper circulation in Latin America and the biggest daily newspapers are the popular Clarin and the more high-brow La Nacion. Both newspapers however are in a vendetta at the moment with the Kirchner government, which sometimes seems to cloud their judgement a bit.
